RepuTex and Hang Seng Indexes: UPDATE
As the research partner to Hang Seng Indexes, RepuTex is pleased to announce that the research process to support the compilation of HSI’s first Sustainability Index Series has now finished.
RepuTex is pleased to announce that the research process to support the compilation of Hang Seng Indexes’ first sustainability themed Index Series for Hong Kong and China has now concluded. As the research partner to Hang Seng Indexes, from December 2009 to April 2010, RepuTex evaluated the ESG (environment, social, governance) performance of Hong Kong and mainland China listed companies using its international ESG Rating Model.
The index structuring process is currently being conducted by Hang Seng Indexes according to index guidelines, taking into account RepuTex’s ESG ratings for assessed companies. Companies included in the Index Series will benefit from the opportunity to participate in the foremost sustainability/ESG investment vehicle in the Hong Kong and mainland China markets.
